Mark 7:14-23
We spend a lot of time worrying about what might corrupt us from the outside—culture, circumstances, other people, bad influences, and a broken world. But in Mark 7:14–23, Jesus exposes a far deeper problem: the greatest danger isn't outside of us. It's within us.
In this sermon, Dark Hearts, we examine Jesus' sobering teaching that sin flows from the human heart itself. The problem isn't merely what surrounds us—it is our own fallen nature. Yet the message does not end in despair. The same Savior who reveals our condition also provides the only cure. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus cleanses what we never could: the heart.
Join us as we explore the truth that the most desperate enemy of man is himself, and the only remedy is Jesus.
