Elijah and the Widow

Life is full of ups and downs. Seasons of plenty and seasons of drought. God is faithful and trustworthy throughout. As Christians, we sometimes let our spiritual disciplines go slack in times of plenty. We are comfortable and our needs are met, so we don't have the same urgency to seek God's Face as in seasons of drought. But if we aren't leaning into - and learning to trust - God's faithfulness in the good times, then we will lack the fortified faith to trust God in seasons of drought.
