Covenant Continuity

As an ethnic Jew, Peter empathized with the struggle of exchanging an Old Covenant identity - so steeped in ritual and tradition - with the New Covenant identity. In chapter 2, he draws from Isaiah and the Psalms to show how the two covenants are not opposed, but rather the Old is fulfilled and continued in the New.
