Romans - Lesson 9

Sin is Cosmic Treason - an offense against God's holy character which demands a just punishment. Yet God is KIND, PATIENT, and shows great RESTRAINT, choosing to hold back His wrath until He could deal with sin with both JUSTICE and MERCY on the Cross of Jesus. His kindness, patience, and restraint is meant to lead sinners like us to REPENTANCE and forgiveness in this life, sparing us from wrath on the Day of God's wrath.
